Work progresses slowly due to the heat: 113 yesterday and 115 today. What the heck, it's the desert and will be this way for at least 10 more weeks. A couple of hours in the early a.m. and evening are about all you can work.

The viaduct is made from scrap extruded foam covered with plaster cloth. It is not finished but close enough to install.
